With a piece of paper and a few drawings…who would think that a few lines can translate into a project in the middle of a busy shopping centre, with a tenant still trading below, the impossible became possible.

 

Logistics, careful planning, town planners, daily engineer inspection to ensure surprises (in this busy shopping Centre) were promptly dealt with.. shows the experience of the team.

 

A single shop transformed into 5 x 2 storey loft apartments and an enlarged retail space became the goal. One can see from the photos how the simple sketches on a piece of paper became a reality.

 

One of many projects where the builder and developer worked together to create a masterpiece. 

 

The building was sold in excess of 4.9m in one line.

This project was purchased with an exisiting permit to enable quick plans and construction to begin. Interestingly, we found that the typical building of 2 and 1 bedroom apartments was not the way to progress. Customers wanted large downsize apartments of between 150-180sqm and thus we amended the plans to have a mix of 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments with different layouts. This process, with the experienced team happened very quickly and design, planning and construction adapted to this changing market.

 

The building of 11 apartments turned into 7 and provided a better NSA (NLA) and therefore a better return on investment.
